The next photo also shows the central building of Melia, where
our rooms were located on the right side of the second floor.

~ IT WAS VERY QUIET AT THE POOL, ALL WEEK LONG. ~ |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the next photo, please note the mini blue-roofed cabanas, set
up on a raised platform along the pool and right across from the pool bar.
Each cabana provides 2 comfortably padded (mattress) lounge
chairs sheltered from the sun, in a more private ambiance.
A hot tub is also available at the very left hand side of
this platform.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below is a view of the large pool bar. A long counter
is available for ordering from the pool deck, facing the pool (right behind the palm trees and blue lounge chairs you see
here). Many tables and chairs are available in the shade. (This
is where I attended my Spanish lessons).
You can also access the aquabar (underneath the yellow curved
roof) from the pool, of course.
Note the small terrace available right above the aquabar and
accessible via the white staircase. This terrace also provides lounge chairs for tanning.

~ UNDERNEATH THIS BRIDGE IS WHERE THE WATER IS THE DEEPEST ~ |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~ The photo below shows the kids'
pool area at the south end, near the Italian restaurant.
Here, the water is only one foot
deep. This area is separated from the rest of the pool by a short and narrow cement ledge, which can be seen
here on the left side of the photo. The water is warmer too! ~
