~ During our stay at Meliá, there
was construction going on daily at the very end of the pier. The first thing we noticed is that the 'aquarium'
was totally gone.
The 2 last cabanas were taken down and were being
rebuilt again. ~

On the next 2 photos, note the little cabanas standing in the ocean.
These cabanas provide 2 hammocks where you can lie down and relax while surrounded
by water.
It is also much fun when the tide comes in!

You can also feed the tropical fish right off the pier.
The fish comes rushing to the surface to eat!

~ On the evening of our arrival, we couldn't
wait to get to the beach. We took a short walk on the pier, under the starry sky. It was a little
scary but SO special! We made it to the first cabana and sat on the swing for a while, simply enjoying
this unique moment........
We had made it to Paradise! ~
~ This couple found the cabanas to be the perfect place for their toddler to enjoy her 2-hour
long nap in the shade, while dad did a little fishing! ~
